I've found a lot of beautiful, hilarious, and inspiring things while rotting away on the computer. Here are five of them.

Lindo

After a bit of a long and stressful hiatas complements of Otis, I'm back, and would like to welcome all thoses interested to the wonderful world of Portugal based designer and illustrator Cristiana Couceiro. Her work is almost nauseatingly charming, with its beautiful found images and delicately handled type, arranged in perfect little compostions that gives me delightful chills up my spine. Ahhhhh...scale shift, scale shift, scale shift. I love it. See more of her work here.

  

Space Race

Here is some work that I'm loving from Atlanta based designer Mark Weaver. He also participated in Beck's Music Inspired Art Project, in which designers have been creating their own versions of album artwork for Pitchfork's "Album of the Decade" list. Post No Bills

Here are some posters from Oakland based designer Jason Munn. He has done work for some great bands producing beautiful yet expensive pieces of paper to hang on your walls. See more of his work at The Small Stakes.

Sound Suits

I've recently revisited the work of Chicago based artist, Nick Cave. He makes these beautiful sound suits out of various found materials, each one being very unique and making a different sound when you dance in them. I'm really looking forward to these ending their exhibition tour at UCLA's Fowler Museum in 2010.
